Nursery Sneak Peek

We went with the color on the left...

Still have some trim work to do...

And need to paint the shutters white.
Love the bay window in this room...

Using drapes we had made for our home in Savannah
that match the pillow. So far, color scheme includes blue, gray, tan (not chocolate), white...

Drying paint...

Morning light. Here you can see a bit of green in the wall color...

Photo wall collage (consignment store find)...
adding green as a color accent.

One of our crib sheets from Carousel Designs
 (elastic all the way around)...

Our glider has been ordered. This is a Best chair, Quinn.
We ordered it in a tan linen.

And, a winter sale sweatshirt that happens to match the nursery.
I'm not big on themes, but don't mind a few elephants here and there (ode to dad).

*Paint color is Healing Aloe by Benjamin Moore. Described as a blue, gray, green. I'm trying not to make the room too monochromatic, adding in touches of green and gray. Want to keep it fun for baby without being too cheesy for mom and dad.

It is looking so great, Casey! I know you have ti be having so much fun decorating for your little one. I sure did.

You booked a massage for next weekend, right?

I love your crib sheet! Have you read the poem The Swing by Robert Louis Stevenson?

We had A Child's Garden of Verses book growing up, and The Swing was our favorite. We read it hundreds of times. To this day my mom and I can both recite it.
